Gorilla Glass

Apparently it's the hottest newest glass on the market, but only since the development of touchscreen applications. Gorilla Glass was developed in the 60's and has since been stored in some closet in a lab for nearly a half a century. Now, there is a huge need for such for the stuff for the booming need of flat screen tv's and etc... So this glass may very well be in the touchscreen in future car and I assume it must be in aircraft as of late especially in aircraft containing "glass cockpits"!
